Kids' Jordan Retro 4 Shoes

MJ’s namesake Nike subsidiary, the Jordan brand, re-released the shoe that powered “The Shot” in 1999 as the Jordan Retro 4, so you can own your own piece of hoops history.

Air goes global

The Retro 4 marks the second straight Air Jordan designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield, the shoe that was the first Jordan shoe to release globally.

Nike included actor and filmmaker Spike Lee, who reprised his character Mars Blackmon in commercials that asked us, “Is it the shoes?”

Leather overlays give the upper a feeling of stability, while mesh insets allow for ventilation for the busy foot.

Plastic lace locks at the top and bottom of the eyelets allow you to customize your lacing to your own unique fit. While a plastic A-frame locks the top end of the laces to the midsole.

The midsole features a window showing the inner workings of the Nike Air cushioning, the second straight Jordan model to do so.

And the outsole wraps up on the lateral (outer) side of the foot to help contain your foot through hard cuts.

Air apparel

No matter which Retro 4 colorway you choose, you have plenty of apparel options to help you finish off your look. The Retro 4 Sole T-shirt, for example, features a prominent print graphic that replicates the circular Jumpman logo on the shoe’s tongue.

The Retro 4 carries over the tumbled leather and visible Air that were originally found on the Retro 3’s predecessor, the Air Jordan III.

Also look for hoodies, fleece pants, and more that all feature full or partial blocks of color that match up with your Retro 4s.
